Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing
Personal data is processed in accordance with the principles set forth in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and for specific purposes, based on the relevant conditions for lawfulness set forth in Article 6 of the GDPR.
In particular,browsing data(such as, for example, IP addresses, domain names of the devices used by users, times of requests, and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment) are processed to enable proper navigation and use of the Site, to obtain anonymous statistical information on its use, and to verify the proper functioning and ensure the security of the platform. The processing of such data is based on the Data Controller’s legitimate interest, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, in ensuring the security and efficiency of its Website.
Data voluntarily provided by the User—such as first name, last name, email address, phone number, or other information entered in contact forms or information requests—is processed solely to respond to the requests submitted. The legal basis for this processing is the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
With regard to data related to job applications—including personal information, contact details, professional information, and any other data contained in the resume submitted through the “job board” pages—the purpose of processing is to evaluate applications and manage the personnel selection process. In this case, the legal basis is the data subject’s consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, expressed through the voluntary submission of the application. Data related to applications may be shared with ROXALL Group companies worldwide for the purpose of identifying suitable candidates. Sharing application data with ROXALL Group companies worldwide may involve the transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such transfers will take place in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR, based on adequacy decisions by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards.
Finally, images collected through video surveillance systems installed at the company’s premises are processed for the purposes of monitoring, security, and the protection of people, buildings, property, and facilities. The processing is based on the Data Controller’s legitimate interest, pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, subparagraph (f) of the GDPR, in protecting the company’s assets and ensuring workplace safety. The data will be retained for a maximum of one month from the time it was obtained, unless it is disclosed to law enforcement agencies and/or to courts and tribunals.
Intended Audience
Personal data will not be disclosed. It may be disclosed to third parties solely for the purposes indicated above and only to the extent strictly necessary.
